While my creative journey spans many artistic mediums, textile weaving has become my primary focus in recent years. There is a deep freedom in building a canvas thread by thread, using shape, texture, and form to tell a story. As a self-taught weaver, I work primarily with wool and silk that I hand-dye using low-water immersion techniques honed over a decade of running my own natural toy shop, a process I also shared in a tutorial for Taproot Magazine. I source my wool from small-scale hand-spinners and often mount my woven pieces on natural driftwood, though I also create framed fiber art across other mediums.
